Wildfire & Other Natural Disaster Resources for Producers

Being prepared for the unexpected is important. Whether you need these resources this year or in the future, there are many resources available before, during, and after a natural disaster.

USDA - Farm Service Agency (Federal): producers impacted by wildfire or other natural disasters should contact their local USDA Service Center (https://www. fsa.usda.gov/state-offices/index) to report losses and learn about disaster relief program options.

Farmers.gov: this online portal provides producers with greater accessibility to all USDA federal disaster relief programs. https://www.farmers.gov/

Ag Disaster Relief Resource Computers: Located at OSU Extension Service county offices around the state, these resource computers are available to producers for greater access to federal/state relief programs. Find your local extension office at https://extension.oregonstate.edu/find-us

OR-Alert (State of Oregon): state website that enables you to sign up for emergency alert programs through county emergency management departments. https://oralert.gov/

Oregon Wildfire Response & Recovery (State of Oregon): website provides information on current fire evacuation information and boundaries, shelter locations, county & tribal emergency management contacts, wildfire recovery & cleanup resources, and wildfire preparation/prevention. https://wildfire. oregon.gov/

Oregon Dept. of Agriculture: access to the NW Interagency Coordination Center fire location map, animal sheltering dashboard, other animal resources, and any state-level disaster assistance programs (ODAP) that may become available. https://www.oregon.gov/oda/agriculture/Pages/WildfireResources.aspx

AgriStress Helpline for Oregon: call or text the hotline at 833-897-2474 for immediate help to deal with stress/mental health concerns (24-hr/day, 7 days/ week)
