Oregon Agritourism

Oregon State University Extension Service, Small Farms program is interested in supporting farms that are seeking ways to diversify income through adding agritourism in a smart way.  Agritourism offers an opportunity for farm direct marketing, networking with costumers who want to learn more about Oregon agriculture and community food systems.

In 2012 OSU Extension Service, Travel Oregon, and partners hosted two events focusing on Oregon Agritourism in November 2012 and March 2013.  A comprehensive summary of the summits and potential next steps was developed: Oregon Agritourism Summit Summary (pdf)

Other educational programs have occurred and as much as possible, materials are available on this website on the  Agritourism Resources page.
